These Terms govern your Rung Coder account and subscription. Your use of the software itself is governed by the End User Licence Agreement; personal data by the Privacy Policy; refunds by the Refund Policy. Where these Terms and the EULA conflict on a question of account or payment, these Terms prevail.
By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
Provider: Rung Coder · [email protected] The provider's legal identity is stated at the end of these Terms.
1.1 Rung Coder is offered for professional and business use by people qualified in industrial automation. You must be at least 16 years old.
1.2 If you are a consumer under the law of your country of residence, these Terms do not remove or reduce your statutory rights. Where a term conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, that right prevails.
1.3 One account is for one person. Do not share your account or credentials.
2.1 You may create an account with Google or GitHub, or with an email address and password. For Google or GitHub sign-in, we receive your email address and basic profile information made available by that provider; we never receive the password for your Google or GitHub account. For email-and-password sign-in, Supabase handles authentication, and we do not store or have access to your password.
2.2 You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password, email account and any linked sign-in provider secure.
2.3 Tell us at [email protected] if you believe your account has been misused.
3.1 New accounts receive 30 days of free access. To start the trial you must provide a valid payment method. Nothing is charged during those 30 days.
3.2 One trial per account. Creating additional accounts to obtain further trials is a breach of these Terms.
3.3 What happens when the trial ends — please read this before you start.
3.4 Cancelling takes no more steps than starting did — see Section 4.5 for the three ways to do it.
3.5 We may change or withdraw the trial for new users at any time. This does not affect a trial already running.
4.1 The paid plan is USD 9 per month per user, charged in advance.
4.2 Creem is the merchant of record. Your purchase contract for the payment is with Armitage Labs OÜ (trading as Creem), registered in Estonia under registry code 16977866 at Rotermanni 14, Tallinn 10111, which sells the licence to you on our behalf, issues the invoice, and collects and remits VAT, sales tax and other applicable taxes. Creem's terms apply to the checkout, and the charge appears on your statement as CREEM.IO* STORE — not under our name.
4.3 Prices are shown exclusive or inclusive of tax as indicated at checkout. The final amount, including any tax, is shown before you confirm.
4.4 The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You will be charged the then-current price on each renewal date.
4.5 Cancelling. You may cancel at any time — in the Manage subscription area of your account on rungcoder.com, through Creem's order portal at https://creem.io/my-orders/login, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future charges. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for; it is not cut short.
4.6 Failed payment. If a payment fails, Creem will retry. If it continues to fail, your subscription lapses and the software stops authorising. Your account and data are kept — you can resubscribe at any time.
4.7 Price changes. We may change the price. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change applies to your subscription. If you do not accept the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
4.8 Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
5.1 A subscription entitles one named user to use the software on one active device at a time.
5.2 Signing in on another device automatically deactivates the previous device. The software running on the previous device will stop authorising at its next check.
5.3 To enforce this we process a hashed hardware identifier as described in the Privacy Policy, Section 3.2.
5.4 If you need more than one active device — for example an office workstation and a site laptop — contact us at [email protected]. Multi-device and team plans are not available at present.
You must not:
Responsible security research is welcome — please report findings to [email protected] rather than testing against other users.
7.1 We aim to keep the service available but give no uptime guarantee. The service depends on third parties — Supabase, Google, Creem, Cloudflare, GitHub — and may be interrupted by their outages, by maintenance, or by changes to CODESYS or to the AI clients you use.
7.2 Support is provided by email at [email protected]. We aim to reply within two business days. Support is available in English and Chinese.
7.3 We support the current version of the software on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit) with CODESYS V3.5 SP18 or later. Earlier CODESYS versions, other operating systems and superseded versions of the software are not supported.
7.4 The software updates itself automatically and this cannot be disabled. See Section 7 of the EULA.
7.5 If a fault prevents you from using the service for a prolonged period and we cannot fix it, contact us — see the Refund Policy.
8.1 You may close your account at any time. See the Privacy Policy, Section 9.
8.2 We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms — in particular Section 6 — or if required by law. Except where the breach is serious or where the law requires immediate action, we will give you notice and a reasonable chance to put it right.
8.3 If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your current billing period.
8.4 We may discontinue the service as a whole. If we do, we will give at least 60 days' notice and refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
We may amend these Terms. The current version is at https://rungcoder.com/terms. We will notify you by email or in the application at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change; if you do not, cancel before it takes effect.
Our liability under these Terms is limited in the same way, and to the same extent, as set out in Section 14 of the EULA. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Business users: disputes not resolved within 30 days of written notice will be finally settled by arbitration under the LCIA Rules, seat London, one arbitrator, in English.
11.3 Consumers: you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts there. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and do not undertake, to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12.1 Language. These Terms exist in English, Chinese and German. The English version governs, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
12.2 You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a company we control or that acquires the Rung Coder business, on notice, without reducing your rights.
12.3 If any provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
12.4 These Terms, with the EULA, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Safety Notice, are the entire agreement between us about the service.
